Description

Robert Parish Signed & Inscribed Celtics Jersey. There were several key moves engineered by Red Auerbach to restore the luster to a once proud Celtics franchise in the late '70's and early '80's. Step one was drafting Larry Bird in 1978 although he opted to play his senior season at Indiana State. Not far behind was trading the first pick of the 1980 draft in exchange for Robert Parrish and the third overall pick. With that pick, the Celtics selected Kevin McHale. So with one selection and wave of his magic wand, Red had what would become known as The Big Three in-place. Championships followed, and the Boston Garden was filled with happy patrons. McHale would go on to headline the Celtics front court and dazzled crowds with an array of moves that were impossible to stop.
Offered is a size-XL green mesh Celtics jersey signed by Parish. The HOFer used mint black Sharpie. The item, with stitched on accolades, displays nicely. James Spence Authentication, W731663. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
