Early 1980's Michael Jordan Game Worn Sneakers. Before His Airness became the world's greatest athlete, the endorsement king of the planet, and Nike's golden spoon to Generation X'ers, Michael Jordan was just another great UNC player with a nice upside. And, by the way, he donned Converse All Stars like tightrope sky-walkers before him Dr. J. and David Thompson. This pair of "early Jordan" footwear differentiate themselves from all others, even rookie era "Air Jordans." The creamy leather shoes are accentuated with UNC light blue hues that bring back shades of that jumper vs. Georgetown. Undersoles are well worn, the laces intact, and both are autographed in ancient blue ball point pen, each rating approximately 7/10. The size 12.5 Converse shoes translate to his early pro career Nike size 13. He's always been an All-Star, but way back when, before he played for play, he was a Converse All-Star like Bird, Magic, and Dr. J. LOA from Lou Lampson. LOA from James Spence Authentication. LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
