2003-04 Carmelo Anthony Game Worn Rookie Jersey. After his freshman heroics led the Syracuse Orangemen to the 2003 NCAA Championship, the tough kid from the Red Hook projects of Brooklyn was the third overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft at age nineteen, and would become the first rookie to lead his team in scoring since David Robinson accomplished the feat in 1989-90. Presented here is a home white jersey worn by this young phenom during that historic first season in which he helped transform the Denver Nuggets from a League-worst laughing stock to a playoff contender. "Nuggets 15" appears in solid block upon the chest, with "Anthony 15" applied to verso. "Reebok" labeling in tail features the logos of the NBA and the Nuggets, and holds triple flap tagging: "2003-2004, 2" L.B., 52." Light but certain wear is evident. Though he still has many years of play ahead of him, Anthony is currently well on pace for eventual Hall of Fame enshrinement, which would make this Nuggets jersey pure gold one day. LOA from Lou Lampson.
