Description

2002-03 John Stockton Game Worn Utah Jazz Jersey Sourced from Team. A first round draft pick in 1984 out of Gonzaga, John Stockton quickly became one of the best point guards in the NBA. The career leader in assists and steals, Stockton was named to 10 NBA All-Star Games and is an esteemed member of the NBA's Top 50 of all time. Our consignor purchased this jersey directly from a member of the Utah Jazz equipment staff. Originally, the "Reebok size 44" jersey had a letter of provenance on Jazz stationery - the same as the Karl Malone which is offered in this auction. That note is not included. This jersey shows great overall use, especially on the thick three-color tackle twill identifiers. The numbers and team name have puckered from multiple washings. Edge thread fraying is visible on the colorful pullover. The team name is in unique blue/purple/white tackle twill while the numbers are constructed with green/brown/white material. "Stockton" is arched on back in single-color white. Four tags appear in the lower region: size, Reebok/Jazz, "2002-2003" and "+4 Length." Overall, a fine Stockton jersey with solid NBA use. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
