1995-96 Kevin Garnett Game Worn Minnesota Timberwolves Warmup Jacket & Pants with Team Provenance - Rookie Season! As a nineteen-year-old rookie out of Farragut Academy, the 6-11 power forward averaged 10.4 points per game and was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. On offer here is KG's complete gamer from his inaugural NBA campaign.Road blue warmup jacket features a seven-button front with "Wolves" arched over the left chest and "Minnesota" arched on the verso, all sewn-on in green on white tackle twill, with green and white ribbed trim accentuating the collar, shoulders, sleeves, sleeve cuffs, and waistband. Best of all is the massive circular Wolves patch which in sewn on the back in blue/silver/green/white embroidery and velvet. Two Champion manufacturing/exclusivity tags are revealed below the interior collar, denoting size ("48"), season ("95/96") and customizations ("Body Length +4, Sleeve Length +5"), with "21" in vintage black marker.
Matching pants feature blue/white/green stretchy waist and leg trim. The inner waistband houses two Champion manufacturing/exclusivity tags, denoting size ("36""), rise ("+1"), and inseam ("37"), with "21" in vintage black marker.
Both pieces remain in outstanding condition with only minimal wear evident. A superb warmup from the newly crowned member of the upcoming 2020 Hall of Fame class. Letter of provenance from Minnesota Timberwolves equipment manager Clayton Wilson (jacket & pants). LOA from Heritage Auctions.
