1994-96 Tim Duncan Game Worn Wake Forest Demon Deacons Jersey with Provenance. It's not often a legitimate college gamer of a first-tier Hall of Famer comes across the auction block. Tim Duncan played at the highest level in both college and the pros and, as such, is a member of both basketball Halls of Fame.The exemplar offered here dates from the 1994-96 period. In 1995-96, he averaged 18.0 points on .581 shooting and 12.4 boards per contest for the Demon Deacons and was named to the All-America team.
Double-ply, home white micro-mesh jersey features an unusual single-ply verso with black ribbed trim decorating the collar and arm openings. "Wake Forest 21" appears across the chest and "21" on the verso, all screened-on in black with gold outlining. Tags include "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Wake Forest University by Champion 1995" and "Champion 48" in tail with "4" Extra Body Length" on interior side seam.

Letter of provenance reads: "Tim Duncan jersey was acquired during my employment at Wake Forest University in the Athletic Department in 1998. The jersey was worn during Tim Duncan's sophomore basketball season (1994-95). Wake Forest ended the season as the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament Champions (26-6). Dan Hauser."
The lot also includes 10x9.5" photograph of Duncan versus St. Louis, publicity photograph (7x4.5") and transparency of Duncan, 1996-97 Wake Forest Yearbook, 1996-97 Wake Forest Media Guide, and Duncan facsimile autograph hand-stamp. Letter or provenance from Dan Hauser. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
