1993-94 Patrick Ewing Game Worn New York Knicks Jersey, MEARS A5. You'll never see the double-threes on the home court at Madison Square Garden again, as the Knicks properly honored their first overall pick in the 1985 draft with the digits' retirement in 2003. Here we find a road blue mesh gamer sported on the road during a season that saw Ewing lead his Big Apple brethren all the way to the Eastern Conference Championship before falling to the Houston Rockets in a seven-game NBA Finals.The jersey is truly massive, with six inches added to the body length, according to the tailoring notation on the "1993-94" Knicks Exclusivity label in the tail beside the "Champion [size] 48" primary label. "New York 33" is applied to chest in orange and white tackle twill, with "Ewing 33" balancing the design on verso. Game wear is characterized as "moderate" and "consistent" by the experts at MEARS, but their protocol allows for nothing higher than an A5 grade for modern jerseys lacking player or team provenance.
