1993-94 Dino Radja Game Worn Boston Celtics Rookie Jersey with Reggie Lewis Mourning Band. Celtics big man averaged 16.7 points and 8.4 rebounds in a short but productive career with Boston, which was cut short due to injury. His rookie jersey seen here was worn during the 1993-4-94 season where he totaled 15.1 buckets and 7.2 boards a game. Unfortunately, he was unable to team with the Celtics star player from the season before. All-Star Reggie Lewis died earlier in the year, during practice, from sudden cardiac arrest due to a structural heart defect. He was only twenty-seven years-old. Dino's road green mesh has "Celtics 40" on front and "Radja 40" on the verso, all sewn on in white tackle-twill. Black nylon armband with Reggie's "35" sewn on top in black tackle-twill has been affixed to the left shoulder strap and was worn throughout the 1993-94 NBA season by Dino and the Celtics. Correct two Champion tags in the tail for size "48" and "Body Length +4." LOA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
