    Description

1990 Larry Bird Game Worn Warm-Up Suit. Dating from the tail end of the Boston Celtic glory days, when the rest of the East aspired to nothing more than second place, comes this full warm-up worn during pre-grame drills by the lanky legend from Indiana. Two-tone tackle twill "Celtics" spans chest, with shamrocks on the sleeves and "Bird" sewn to the nameplate velcro-affixed to the verso. "Champion [size] 48" label in tail has markered number "33." The matching pants have snap button sides and dual tagging in the waistband. "Celtics Exclusivity" tag notes year (90), rise (+2) and inseam (+5), while "Champion [size] 36" label is just to the right. Each has markered number "33" identifier. Wear is clearly evident in the surface of the tagging and the elasticized cuffing at the sleeve ends and collar. A quality representation of a game worn Bird warm-up uniform that will make for a fantastic and unmistakable display. LOA from Lou Lampson.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
