1988-94 New Jersey Nets Game Worn Warm Up Suit With Jayson Williams Lot of 2. The New Jersey Nets had a unique sense when it came to their basketball attire. Taking a trip down memory lane are these two styles of warm-up uniforms. Securing top honors is a 1993-94 Jayson Williams shooting jacket and matching pants. Funky may be an understatement when describing this short-lived style. A screen-printed Nets logo is applied to the reverse. The following tags are secured in the collar: "Champion [size] 46," "1993-1994 Nets Exclusivity Body Length +2 Sleeve Length +3" with "55" written in period-marker, and a curled washing instructions label. Also included are the matching pants worn by the rebounding machine. These tags are secured in the waistline: "1993-1994 Nets Exclusivity" with "55" written in marker, "Champion [size] 38" and washing instructions label.

A bit more tradition is the 1988-89 shooting jacket/pants complementing the Williams outfit. We attribute the jacket to Chris Morris as it has his number written in black marker. These tags are revealed in the collar: "88" (year), "Sand Knit Exclusivity" tag with "34" markered (partially disengaged), "MacGregor Sand Knit [size] 42," "3"LB" and "38"SL." "New Jersey" is arched to the reverse in single-color blue tackle twill. The final piece of this Nets' themed puzzle are matching pants, attributed to Walter Berry. The following tags are placed in the waistline: "88" (year), "6" written on a swatch, "New Jersey Nets Sand Knit Exclusivity, "Sand Knit [size] 36," "38" IN" and "1"HR." LOA from Heritage Auctions.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
