1987-88 Robert Parish Game Worn Signed Boston Celtics Jersey With Provenance. Coupled with Kevin McHale, the Boston Celtics had one of the NBA's most formidable front courts in league history. If they got past McHale, the Chief was always there to re-direct a shot attempt. Smack dab in the middle of the Boston Celtics dominating days is this Parish game worn jersey. Parish's number was permanently retired in 1998 so nobody else will have the honor of wearing "00" for the Celtics. What makes this, and the Larry Bird and McHale gamers in Heritage's Signature Auction, stand out more than ninety percent of the other gamers to surface is there is concrete authentication established from a high ranking executive. All three have a signed letter from former Celtics CFO & Senior Vice President Joe DiLorenzo which states: "I, Joseph G. DiLorenzo former CFO & Senior Vice president of the Boston Celtics, confirm that the following was from my personal collection and obtained during my tenure with the team."This mesh pullover shows great game use with softness on the single-color white tackle twill identifiers, slight puckering and a scant stain on front and back. "Boston 00" takes residence on front while "Parish 00" is centered on back. Tail tagging includes: "87" (year), "2" LB," "Celtics exclusivity" and "Sand Knit [size] 46". Parish signed the front in black sharpie. LOA from former Celtics Senior Vice President. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph).
