1987-88 Larry Nance Game Worn Phoenix Suns Jersey with Vanos Patch & Letter from Equipment Manager & MEARS A10. Probably best known as the first winner of the NBA Slam Dunk Contest in 1984, earning him the nickname "The High-Ayatolla of Slamola," Larry Nance was a model of consistency through his professional career. This lanky Nance wore this 'Sand Knit size 46" jersey during the 1986-87 campaign with the Suns. Solid wear is showcased on the cheese cloth gamer with puckering to the two-tone numbers and distinct single-color purple NOB. A "30" circular patch is sewn on one stirrup in honor of the passing of Nick Vanos who died in August of 1987. The following tags are applied in the tail: "1-86-87" (written on a blank swatch), "2"LB" Suns exclusivity and size. Letter of provenance from former Suns equipment manager Joe Proski. LOA from MEARS, A10. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
