1986-87 Julius Erving Game Worn Shooting Shirt. They say that practice makes perfect, and this Hall of Fame legend came pretty close to embodying that adjective in his sixteen years of professional ball. He continued to practice in his next-to-last season, wearing this white mesh shooting shirt in pre-game warm-ups. "Sixers" is spelled across the chest in red and blue tackle twill, and patriotic elastic cuffing adorns the collar, waistband and sleeve ends. Dual "Sand-Knit" tagging inside the collar relates to "76'ers Exclusivity" and size "46." The latter is notated with Dr. J's number "6," and it must be noted that this was the principle manner of player identification at the time. Embroidered swatches on either side note the year (86) and tailoring modifications (2" LB). Wear is evident, particularly in the tagging. A quality representation of a superstar player's uniform piece. LOA from Lou Lampson.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
