Description
1985 Chris Mullin Game Worn Golden State Warriors Rookie Warm-Up Jacket--Photo Matched! He stood on the top step of the Olympic podium with Michael Jordan in 1984 and 1992, and joins him in Hall of Fame immortality at Springfield. Mullin's number "17" is one of a half dozen jerseys retired by the Warriors franchise, joining another brotherhood of immortals containing Wilt Chamberlain and Nate Thurmond. This gorgeous garment finds the seventh overall selection in the 1985 NBA draft in the early weeks of his career, linked to a great shot of the baby-faced shooting guard to an image tentatively attributed to a December 29, 1985 victory over the Lakers at The Forum.
The Warriors have always boasted some of the best uniform designs in NBA history, and this is no exception, the collared snap-front garment featuring Mullin's number "17" and an NBA logo patch on the front, and a glorious team logo taking up most of the real estate on verso. Interior collar is tagged, "Rawlings [size] 42" with a "100% Nylon" flap tag anchored at bottom. Solid wear evident. LOA from Resolution Photomatching. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
