Description
1984 Michael Jordan Summer Olympics Game Worn Warm-Up Jacket. Along with future NBA stars Patrick Ewing and Chris Mullin, the legend in the making Michael Jordan led the American squad to an eight and zero record at the Los Angeles Games, securing his first Olympic Gold on the strength of his seventeen points per game. This remarkable warm-up/shooting shirt was present for the patriotic glory, a pullover red knit pre-gamer with "USA" affixed in blue and white tackle twill over the heart, and repeated in larger font on verso. Behind the zippered neck at interior collar is the "Descente [size] 44" manufacturer's label and an embroidered "Jordan" swatch attributing the uniform piece to the greatest name in basketball history. Wear is light but definite. One of the earliest and most unique game worn artifacts from this iconic Hall of Famer ever to reach the public auction block. LOA from Lou Lampson. LOA from MEARS.More information about Michael Jordan Sports Player.
