1983-85 Rookie Era Clyde Drexler Game Worn Portland Trailblazers Jersey. Basketball is a game dominated by grace and few played the game as effortless as Clyde The Glide Drexler. The shooting guard who gained fame as the kingpin of Phi Slama Jama at the University of Houston, helped elevate the Portland Trailblazers to a championship level. Rarely are early Drexler game-worn jerseys offered. And we didn't even delve into the provenance of this home jersey. Authenticated with a signed letter from former big leaguer Brian McRae is this "Medalist Sand Knit [size] 42" gamer. Excellent wear is showcased on the pullover with consistent puckering and definite fraying on the two-color tackle twill identifiers. Drexler signed the front in black marker. No NBA logo is affixed on the stirrup so it would be from before 1987. Glue affixed in the tail is a Trailblazers Medalist Sand Knit tag (upper left portion peeling) and "Medalist Sand Knit [size] 42." Imagine how many highlight reel dunks Drexler created wearing this very mesh masterpiece. Letter of provenance signed by former MLB player Brian McRae. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
