Description

1983-84 Isiah Thomas Game Worn & Signed Detroit Pistons Warmup Jacket with Likely Photo Match.

UPDATE: We have corrected the first sentence which had previously listed the incorrect season.

The presented jacket was worn by Zeke in 1983-84 when he averaged 21.3 points, 11.1 assists and 2.5 steals in the regular season and 21.4 points and 11.0 assists in the postseason. That same season, Thomas was also named the MVP of the All-Star Game after posting twenty-one points, fifteen assists and four steals.

Home white knit button-down jacket, with red and blue trim on the sleeve cuffs and side panels, sports large team disc patch over the left chest with "11" and oversized NBA patch below. Verso displays "Thomas" in high vertically arched blue tackle twill. Meanwhile, Medalist Sand-Knit labels on the interior button path indicate size ("40") and exclusivity.

The jacket exhibits tremendous season-long wear by the diminutive superstar. Resolution Photomatching determined that the jacket is a "Likely Photomatch" to an image taken during Game Five of the 1984 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals versus the Knicks.

Isiah's hardwood resume includes a national championship and Final Four MOP at Indiana, two NBA title and Finals MVP with Detroit, a dozen All-Star berths and residency on the NBA's 50th and 75th anniversary teams. LOA from Resolution Photomatching (36046). LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
