Description
1977-78 Ernie DiGregorio Game Worn Los Angeles Lakers Jersey and Shorts. After playing with the Buffalo Braves from 1973-77, Ernie DiGregorio was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers during the '77 season. An extremely solid point guard up until the point when he suffered a severe knee injury, Ernie D wore this complete uniform during his days in LA. Presented is a classic purple mesh shirt, which exhibits great wear and sewn-on identifiers throughout. The proper "Tiernan" tag is in the tail, while glue residue from framing can be detected throughout. The shorts have the proper "Tiernan" and "15" tags in the interior, and they show nice wear as well. A superb set from the league 1974 Rookie of the Year and esteemed member of the National Italian American Sports Hall of Fame. Letter of provenance from Ernie DiGregorio.
