1974-76 Marvin Barnes Spirits of St. Louis Salesman's Sample Jersey. The American Basketball Association gave the sport a level of variety. The rogue league had a red, white and blue basketball, was known for its above the rim antics and those unmistakable Afros. Style and substance were at an all-time high when the Spirits of St. Louis took the court. This durene "Wilson size 42" jersey is a sample jersey and was never worn. The roundball team used locally based Rawlings as their uniform supplier. "Spirits of St. Louis 24" are crafted in two-color tackle twill on front with "Barnes" arched atop the verso numbers. A combination of black, white and orange trim surrounds the neck and shoulder inserts. A Wilson size tag is applied in the tail. Extra stitch holes are visible.Auction Info
