1973-76 Bill Melchionni Game Worn New York Nets (ABA) Jersey. Point guard Bill Melchionni was an NBA champion with Wilt Chamberlain's 76ers, three-time ABA assists leader, three-time ABA All-Star and two-time ABA champion with Dr. J's Nets. A graduate of Villanova with a B.S. Degree in economics, Melchionni went on to work with Salomon Brothers Investment Bank after leaving the Nets.Bill's road blue knit gamer sports sewn-on tackle twill identifiers, vertical red braid stripe, side panel with three five-point stars and a lone "Rawlings 42" label in the front right tail. "Melchionni" on the verso has been professionally replaced and the jersey displays very well. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
