1973-74 Oscar Robertson Game Worn Milwaukee Bucks Jersey with Robertson Letter--Photo Matched to 1974 NBA Finals! While an enormous amount of credit for the early success of the Milwaukee Bucks franchise belongs to young Lew Alcindor/Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, it was Big O, the superstar point guard acquired from the Cincinnati Royals, who proved to be the final piece to the Championship puzzle upon his arrival in Milwaukee in 1970. Now forever enshrined with the NBA career scoring leader in both the Basketball Hall of Fame and the NBA Fifty Greatest Players of All-Time list, Robertson was the lightning to Alcindor/KAJ's thunder, a heady Beer City brew that dominated the Midwest Division of the Western Conference for the entirety of their four-season partnership.

The offered garment finds Robertson in the final days of his Hall of Fame career, bearing season-long wear but photographically matched to both the NBA Finals and his jersey retirement ceremony. The former was a thrilling seven-game series that saw the Bucks and Celtics alternate victories--the Bucks taking the even-numbered contests, and the Celtics taking the odds, including the Game Seven clincher.

Photographic documentation links this garment to the Bucks' Game Two victory, an overtime nail-biter in which Robertson played fifty-two minutes and supplied ten points, nine assists and seven rebounds to the winning cause. Another photograph finds the humble legend holding this jersey as his number "1" jersey is retired from the Bucks wardrobe for eternity in his honor at the end of this season. A third photo match links the garment to an unidentified regular season contest against the Detroit Pistons.

The white mesh jersey exhibits solid game wear and features shimmering vinyl identifiers announcing "Bucks 1" on chest and "Robertson 1" on verso. Lower left front tail holds triple "Sand Knit" labeling exhibiting heavy fading and fraying. These indicate Bucks exclusivity, a local Milwaukee sporting goods distributor, and a size label too faded to read but measuring to a proper "42."
