Description

1968-70 Sam Williams Game Worn Milwaukee Bucks Full Uniform & More. Another offering from the Patrick McBride Collection that supplied this auction with extraordinary jerseys from Hall of Fame legends Lew Alcindor (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) and Oscar Robertson, this lot is anchored by a road green jersey worn by guard Sam Williams, whose two seasons of NBA service were dedicated to the Bucks franchise. "Milwaukee 3" is applied to chest in white and red tackle twill, with number "3" repeated on verso. "Sand-Knit size 42" label appears at lower left front tail. Matching shorts feature awesome logo patch at left leg and "Sand-Knit size 34" tagging inside, along with an embroidered "6" swatch which may mean that the garment was originally issued to another player. It is included here simply as a perfect style match. Rounding out the ensemble are two pairs of warm-up pants, two pairs of Bucks uniform socks, and a period NBA uniform patch. All pieces exhibit wear but no damage. Letter of provenance from Milwaukee Bucks equipment manager. LOA from MEARS, A10.

*A donation of $100 to the American Red Cross is required to attend the Live auction.
