Description

1958 Harlem Globetrotters Game Worn Jersey. So condition may not be first-rate, but it's still a rare opportunity to own a genuine vintage Globetrotters jersey, and you don't exactly get that chance every day. As the story was conveyed to us, this jersey was the "victim" of one of the clowning club's famous stunts, torn in half down the seams during a meeting with the college All-Americans. The entire jersey is here, and the option to reconstitute the shirt with a needle and thread certainly exists. A star=spangled "Original Harlem Globetrotters" fills the chest in patriotic tackle twill, with number "52" residing below the globe logo's south pole on verso. "Wilson" label in tail with size "42 - Plus 2"" resides in the tail, and some staining is scattered throughout. Joining the jersey is a program for the game in which the shirt was sacrificed to the comedy gods, in EX-MT condition. LOA from Dave Bushing. LOA from Lou Lampson.
