1982 NBA Finals Los Angeles Lakers vs. Philadelphia 76ers Game 6 Full Ticket, PSA NM 7. The 1982 NBA Finals featured a rematch between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Philadelphia 76ers, with the Lakers winning the series 4-2 to claim their eighth championship. Led by Magic Johnson, who averaged nearly a triple-double in the series and was named Finals MVP, the Lakers showcased a fast-paced offense and strong team defense. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar also played a pivotal role, while rookie James Worthy was sidelined with a leg injury. The 76ers, led by Julius Erving and Andrew Toney, battled hard but couldn't overcome the Lakers' depth and transition game.
