    Description

1955 Bob Pettit Photograph - Wearing Wrong Jersey Number! Bob Pettit is considered one of the elite players of the sport of basketball - highlights of his career include two MVP awards (1956, 1959), and NBA Rookie of the Year (1955). The second pick in the draft, Pettit became the highest paid rookie when he signed with the Hawks for the whopping sum of $11,000.

The offered 8x10" photograph exhibits light wear and depicts the Hall of Famer in a dribbling pose. A curious note is that Pettit is number 27 on his jersey, an unworn number in 1955 and not the number 9 that he donned throughout his career.
