Unique Pair of Wilt Chamberlain Prototype Flipbooks. The "kineograph" (or "moving picture") were first patented in the late 1860's becoming the first type of animation using a series of images. Offered is a pair of possibly unique Wilt Chamberlain flipbook prototypes of the basketball legend showing off the skills that made him a legend. Each booklet measures 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" with no indication regarding who produced them. The first book offers 48 pages of Wilt dribbling and making a skyhook shot. The second offers 73 pages of Wilt making a 360-degree defensive move and making another basket. The pictures are crisp and clear and do show wear at corners. Top images show slight surface wear. Each is held together with two heavy staples. These are the first of this kind we have ever seen and as prototypes, they are most certainly unique one-of-a-kind collectibles.
