    Description

Ron Artest (Brawl) Original Oil Painting. The November 19th 2004 brawl between the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons is the most infamous in the history of professional basketball. With less than a minute left in the game, a fight broke out between players on the court . After the fight was broken up, a drink was thrown from the stands at then Pacers player Ron Artest while he was lying on the scorer's table. Artest then entered the crowd and sparked a massive brawl between players and fans. The offered painting is a somewhat comical stance on the phrase people often say to a celebrity the first time they meet them. Artest is shown moments before assaulting a fan in the stands. The painting measures 12"x 12" and is signed by artist Grant Smith on the front and reverse.
