James Naismith Cut Signature. With two peach baskets and a soccer ball, Naismith single-handedly gave birth to the game of basketball in 1892, setting into motion a series of events that would one day bring us superstars like Kareem, Michael and Lebron. But despite Naismith's supreme relevance to the sport of basketball, very few autographs remain today, making this specimen a cause of great celebration for serious collectors. The bold blue ink signature, likely clipped from correspondence of some sort, presents wonderfully, and is encapsulated for posterity with PSA's essential seal of approval. Certainly among the finest of the small handful of specimens available in the hobby. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
