Description

Circa 1990 Clyde Drexler Game Worn Shoes - From Family of Sandy Grossman. Like many of the greats, Clyde Drexler made the game of basketball appear effortless. Whether it be slashing to the basketball on a drive or creating a rim-rocking dunk, Drexler had a flow to his game like few others. These "Avia" game-worn shoes were used during the height of Drexler 's popularity in the early '90's. No size is indicated inside. Both show great superstar wear and have red marks on the sides from contact. "852" is embroidered on the heels of both. These were gifted by Drexler to sports TV director Sandy Grossman's son. "To Dean Best Wishes" is scribed on the right shoe in 7/10 red ink. Letter of provenance from the son of television director Sandy Grossman. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
