Description
Circa 1987-88 Reggie Lewis Game Worn Boston Celtics Shooting Jacket. Reggie Lewis drained plenty of jumpers when he donned this snazzy shooting jacket. Used in preparation for games during the early portion of the sharp shooter's career is the offered "Sand Knit [size] 44" road jacket. Proudly screen pressed on front is "Celtics" along with shamrocks on the sleeves. A Celtics exclusivity tag is joined by a size label in the collar. We compared the Sand Knit labels inside this one to various other years and link the offered garment to Lewis' rookie campaign. The labeling period is 1987-90. Other examples we have found from 1988 had a year swatch as they also did in subsequent years. Accentuating the reverse is a satin nameplate with "Lewis" featured in green tackle twill.
