Description

Circa 1974 Bob Lanier Game Detroit Pistons Sneaker -- Size 20! Bob Lanier was much more than a guy with big feet. The first selection of the 1971 NBA Draft was elected to eight All-Star teams before taking up permanent residency in Springfield in 1992. Despite his 6-11 285 frame, Big Bob was also extremely fluid, could put the ball on the floor, and loved facing up. As such, it is no surprise that he won the 1971-72 NBA One-On-One Competition (the inaugural one and sponsored by Vitalis), defeating Boston's Jo Jo White in the final.

Here we present Lanier's early-career Adidas "Pro Model" (left sneaker only) with white leather upper, blue/red/blue striping, "Adidas" on the heel, and "Adidas Pro Model" on the tongue. The kicker here (no pun intended) is the size "20" stencil stamping inside.
