Circa 1936 James Naismith Signed Print. The most important autograph in the basketball collecting hobby is that of its founder, the illustrious Dr. James Naismith, who signs a print created by his friend and fellow professor Ed. Elbel. The 4x6" work is centered upon a 7.5x10" paper stock medium, and is inscribed "Sincerely Yours, James Naismith, Lawrence, Kans." in 10/10 black fountain pen ink. The work is lightly toned at the edges, with a minor bend at bottom right corner, but this could all be very easily matted out for a NRMT-MT appearance. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
