Abe Saperstein Signed Document. William Spivey player release form from September 15, 1955 signed in 10/10 black ink by Harlem Globetrotters creator and owner Abe Saperstein. Document is in excellent condition and signed on official Abe Saperstein Sports Enterprises letterhead. Also included are two payroll receipts dated March 31, 1956 and February 2, 1956 for Bill Spivey from the Harlem Magicians. Spivey, the University of Kentucky's first seven-footer, was also indicted in a point shaving scandal in the early 1950's and barred from the NBA. LOA from PSA/DNA.Auction Info
