Each of the Los Angeles Lakers' lockers presented in this auction stood in the team's STAPLES Center Dressing Room since a renovation prior to LeBron James' free-agent arrival for the 2018-19 NBA season, through the 2024-25 NBA season.

In these seven seasons, during which the building was renamed Crypto.com Arena on December 25, 2021, these personal stalls enjoyed a number of great Lakers' moments: the team's 17th NBA Title in 2019-20 (played at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Bay Lake, Florida), its first NBA Cup in December 2023 (played at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada) and its 33rd and 34th Pacific Division titles in 2019-20 and 2024-25. Among the greats who inhabited this locker room included future Hall of Famer LeBron James, recently acquired superstar Luka Doncic, Hall of Famers Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard, and NBA greats Rajon Rondo and Russell Westbrook.

Most notably, James used his locker when he passed Kobe Bryant in career points on January 25, 2020, the day before Bryant tragically passed away. And it was in this locker that James sat after setting the all-time NBA scoring record on February 7, 2023, when he passed former Laker Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's mark of 38,387 career points. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
