2010 Kevin Durant Game Worn, Signed Shoes - Worn in his First All-Star Game! When Kevin Durant entered the NBA as a member of the Seattle Supersonics in 2007, the lanky sharp shooter from the University of Texas was anything but a surprise. During his only year as a collegiate athlete, Durant averaged 25.8 points and 11.1 rebounds per game, and was given the John R. Wooden Award, as he was named the year's most outstanding men's college basketball player.In 2008, Durant was named NBA Rookie of the Year, and the following season his team moved to Oklahoma City where he captured the heart of an entire community. Still, it wasn't until Durant was named to his first All-Star game the in 2009-10 where he took the nation by storm, and in front of a Cowboys Stadium record crown of more than 108,000 Durant wore the offered pair of "NIKE KD2" sneakers.
Originally obtained after the game by one of Durant's personal friends, the stunning kicks can be matched to a countless number of images on gettyimages.com, and they have each been signed by the young superstar in Mint silver sharpie. As typical for Durant sneakers, the original tags have been removed, and they measure at 14" in length. Displaying light, but suitable wear for a one-game style, these are truly some of the most significant pieces of Durant memorabilia ever to hit the auction block.
