Description

2006 Dirk Nowitzki NBA Finals Game Two Worn & Signed Dallas Mavericks Jersey--Photo Matched! The greatest Maverick in franchise history was also the greatest player on the court on June 11, 2006 as he led all scorers with twenty-six points and a stunning sixteen rebounds to turn up the heat on Miami in a 99-85 victory. Though the Game Two win would prove to be the last of the Finals for Dallas, there's no question that this fine showing on the sport's grandest stage served as inspiration for the ultimate glory that would arrive in 2011.

Despite ranking fourth in NBA history with 1,522 regular season appearances, the German giant played only a dozen games in the NBA Finals, winning half of them, so that golden patch on the upper right chest makes this one of the most special from Nowitzki's illustrious career. It is affixed above the name of his adopted hometown and the number "41" that will surely never again appear on a Mavericks jersey. The digits are repeated on verso below a block lettered "Nowitzki." Lower left front tail bears "Reebok/Mavericks/NBA" labeling with size "54" and "Length +6" flap tags at either edge. A "2005-2006" flap tag is anchored at bottom seam. MeiGray's proprietary serial numbered label appears below.

Proper game wear is evident, and a silver sharpie signature from the jersey's original owner appears on rear numeral. LOA from MeiGray. LOA from Resolution Photomatching. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
