Description

Includes signed letter of provenance from Parish himself

2003 Robert Parish Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Ring. He earned three NBA Championship rings in Boston, and a fourth in Chicago, but the presented model stands as the ultimate symbol of excellence, issued to the superstar center at his 2003 induction into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. Parish is best remembered, of course, for those fifteen seasons of brilliance at Boston Garden, where he joined Larry Bird and Kevin McHale to create what many basketball historians consider to be the finest frontcourt ever assembled. The trio remains linked in both the list of the NBA's Fifty Greatest Players and the institution from which this ring derives. Fellow Hall of Famer and teammate from 1985-87 Bill Walton once called Parish, "the greatest shooting big man of all time."

The ring is adorned with a large genuine diamond on the face, set into a red stone and encircled by raised text announcing "Basketball Hall of Fame." Left shank reports the surname of its iconic recipient, and imagery of that deadly sky-high jump shot in action. Right shank provides the 2003 vintage above the seal of The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Interior band is stamped "10K" and measures to a size twelve. Near Mint to Mint condition. Letter of provenance from Robert Parish. LOA from PSA/DNA.
