    Description

2001 Marques Haynes Harlem Globetrotters Retired Jersey from the Marques Haynes Collection. In a fabulous black tie ceremony on January 5, 2001 in Chicago, as part of a celebration of seventy-five years of Globetrotter basketball, the team retired Marques Haynes' number "20." This was an exceptional honor - the only other jersey numbers retired by the team were those of Wilt Chamberlain, Goose Tatum and Meadowlark Lemon. A very select group, indeed. The jersey is dark blue, bearing white stars, red numbers and Marques' name in gold---a beautiful display and the only one of its kind. Tastefully matted and framed, this outstanding item measures approximately 32x40". A rare opportunity for the serious basketball collector.
