1998 Tim Duncan Game Worn, Signed & Inscribed San Antonio Spurs "Nike Total Air Foamposite Max" Sneakers from The Steve Koonin Collection. The Big Fundamental's unofficial signature sneakers presented here are most commonly remembered as "the Tim Duncans," Better suited for RoboCop in 2028 Detroit than the reserved young power forward of 1998, these size "17" OG player exclusives sport a metallic silver and black colorway with gleaming Foamposite-based uppers, molded flowing lines, iridescent collar logo circle, tongue and heel pull tabs, and Air Max cushioning.

These exemplars exhibit evidence of game wear and each shoe is boldly signed and inscribed "Tim Duncan #21 Spurs '98" in 9/10 vintage black sharpie. As Covid 19 closed down the NBA and my office as CEO of the Atlanta Hawks , our home quickly became our office. Since March of last year, I have taken countless Zoom calls and meetings from my home office. Seeing the same four walls day after day, I had an idea for how to give back from a career that has given me so much.

Over the last 30+ year career at both Coca-Cola and Turner Broadcasting, I had the privilege and good fortune to work with dozens of sports teams and star athletes. In these roles, I was often afforded lots of gifts; I received signed sports memorabilia to commemorate the work we did together.

While working from home day after day while our country is ravaged by the pandemic, I decided it's time to turn these past memories into current action and help others. Heritage Auctions is going to be selling items from my collection to raise money for college education. 100% of all dollars raised will be donated to education based charities including the Koonin Scholarship Program at the University of Georgia's Grady College.
