    Description

1997 Chicago Bulls Prototype Championship Ring Presented to Steve Schanwald.

UPDATE: We cannot be certain ring was presented to Schanwald, as this may be an internal (to ring manufacturer) prototype.

The Chicago Bulls inspired a generation of basketball fans to "Be Like Mike". This prototype ring was presented to longtime staffer Steve Schanwald. An embossed basketball is surround by CZ's. The left shank reveals: "1997 World Champions," "Team of the Decade," NBA logo and image of the United Center. The right side announces: "Schanwald," "Tradition Dynasty Pride," "VP" and an image of the Bulls logo. We are safe in assuming this was only intended for a higher up such as Schanwald. "10k Intergold" is stamped inside. The size eleven and a half ring weighs thirty-six grams (36g.).
