Description

1993 Chicago Bulls NBA Championship Ring & Display Box Presented to Bulls Limited Partner Norm Jacobs. Back-to-back is special, but three-in-a-row is a three-peat and set rings like this one into production.

A carved red stone forms the team logo on the ring face, highlighted in yellow gold and set upon a sea of genuine diamonds. This is one of the very few championship rings we've ever encountered without any text on the ring face, and we've got to say that the power of the design merits that decision. Left shank features "Jacobs" and "LP" [Limited Partner] astride a figural Larry O'Brien Trophy and the Bulls' impressive "15-4" postseason record. Right shank announces "World Champions 1993" along with an NBA logo and those unforgettable words, "3-Peat."

Interior band is stamped "14K Jostens" and measures to a size twelve (12). Weight is fifty-three grams (53 g.). Light wear is evident, but there are no faults that distract from the spectacular aesthetics of this beauty. Of course, Michael Jordan would shockingly announce his retirement after this championship.

The ring is housed in its original Josten's display box. Measuring at 6.5x7x4", the lacquered wooden display piece features a circular metal plaque, displaying the Bulls logo, three Larry O'Brien trophies and "1991, 1992, 1993 World Champions" text, and a rectangular metal inscription plate, featuring team logo and "Chicago Bulls World Champions 1991, 1992, 1993 Norm Jacobs." Opening the lid reveals plush red and black velvet interiors. NM-MT quality is exhibited throughout.

Publisher Norman Jacobs owned Inside Sports Magazine and was a silent partner with Jerry Reinsdorf in the syndicate that owns the Chicago Bulls.
