Chris Mullin was a superb deep shooter, outstanding playmaker from the small forward position, and you couldn't foul him when the game was on the line. He had an incredible five-year run in the NBA where he averaged over twenty-five points per game with over five assists per game, while shooting over fifty percent from the field and over eighty percent from the charity stripe. Going into the Olympics, Mullin was coming off a 25.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.5 assists season.
