1990 Michael Jordan Game Worn & Signed Air Jordan V Single Sneaker with Denver Nuggets Ball Boy Letter. His Airness was masterful in the Mile High City on November 24, 1990, leading the first of his six NBA Championship editions to victory over the Denver Nuggets in a high-scoring extravaganza that saw the final buzzer sound with a score of 151 to 145. Fourteen players posted double-digit personal scoring tallies, but Jordan predictably topped them all with thirty-eight, with a dozen assists and seven rebounds.

Immediately after the game, a ball boy for the hosts approached the star of the show and was gifted this right-foot sneaker as a souvenir, complete with a bold black sharpie signature at the ankle, just above the embroidered number "23." The size thirteen (13) Air Jordan V exhibits solid game wear and a moderate degree of degradation to the rubber soles, a common ailment among sneakers of this vintage.

Beyond the included letter of provenance from the lucky young ball boy, the sneaker is likewise referenced in the July 2020 edition of "Mile High Sports" magazine, which features an article written by the original owner waxing nostalgic about those exciting days of his youth at courtside.
