1988 Los Angeles Lakers NBA Championship Ring. We aren't quite clear on why a salesman's sample ring would be made with the name of a non-player, but our assumption is that the person lost his genuine ring and had a replacement made, at which point the folks at Josten's decided to run off a sample with the available mold. In any case, it's a gold-plated beauty, with a faux diamond-studded face and a larger stone in Lakers purple, and "World Champion Lakers 1988" ringing the perimeter in raised lettering. Left shank features an enamel NBA logo and the words "Back to Back, 1987, 1988." Right shank provides a Lakers team logo at center of text reading "Miller" and "Lakers 4, Pistons 3." Interior band is stamped by Josten's. Size 11.5.
