Description
1987-88 Scottie Pippen Rookie Game Worn & Signed Sneakers. Early in his career, Pip was an Avia man before being cajoled to make the move to Nike (which he wore for the remainder of his career) by a high-profile teammate who had a strong relationship with the brand.White and red colorway display white leather upper with Avia in red and "855" on the side heel. The kicks show great overall wear with numerous scuffs from hardwood battles. No size indicated. Pippen signed the tips of both in blue felt and inscribed "1987-88" which would indicate the year of issue. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
