Description

1984 U.S. Olympic Basketball Team Signed Program with Jordan. Rare program dated July 9, 1984 from the Hoosier Dome at the University of Indiana was issued for those on hand to watch the best in collegiate basketball compete for spots on the U.S. Olympic team heading for the Los Angeles games. As a pair of included letters of provenance explain, coach Bobby Knight presented each ball boy for the game with a signed program for his work, this being one of those gifts from the surly legend. Most notable, of course, is the highly desirable pre-rookie Michael Jordan autograph, but certainly Patrick Ewing, Sam Perkins, Steve Alford, Alvin Robertson and coach Knight himself are no slouches either. Ten autographs are here in total. A certain degree of fading to the cover and the signatures comes as a result, according to the letters, of having been left for two weeks in Knight's car before its presentation. Nonetheless, all signatures present as 8/10 or better. LOA from PSA/DNA.
