1984 "My Proudest Moment as a Chicago Bull" Collection of 26 Signed Letters with Rookie Michael Jordan.
One draft choice changed the fortunes of the Chicago Bulls forever. An organization always stuck in neutral, the Bulls became winners when Michael Jordan was selected in the 1984 NBA Draft. Here we offer one of the most unique early-career Jordan signatures. Twenty-five members of the Bulls organization, past and present at the time, listed their "My Proudest Moment as a Chicago Bull" on separate sheets. Jordan's proudest, his second career game when he poured in twenty-one points in a 108-106 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. His Airness wrote the following in bold blue ballpoint: "Game against Milwaukee 2nd Games of the Season." His full-name signature is a perfect 10/10 and the piece is dated "12-28-84."

Others who signed individual pages include: Ed Badger (describes the playoff run in 1977-78), Tom Boerwinkle, Clem Haskins, Rod Higgins, Johnny Kerr, Kevin Dougherty, Bob Love, Wes Mathews, McCoy McLemore, John Menegelt, Dick Motta, Jawann Oldham, Flynn Robinson, Guy Rodgers, Jerry Sloan, Caldwell Jones, Nate Thurmond, Reggie Theus, Norm Van Lier, Chet Walker, (2) Pat Williams, Ennis Whatley and Orlando Woolridge (signed "O".)

All but one has positive overtones throughout. Cody Dietrick, who also signed an 8x10" photo, used the forum as a chance to vent about the fans. He wrote the following about his experience in the Windy City. "I was always proud to pull on a professional uniform for 11 years. I was proud to work with all my friends and teammates in and around the Bulls organization. They are good people and very nice to me and my wife. And I'm still proud to have taken a little money off those boo-birds in Chicago who call themselves Bulls "fans" and then continually hurt "their team" with their negative approach. I'm glad they had to pay to see me play! To all the real fans thanks for your support. Glad to be on this wall looking at you."

The entire collection is housed in a red vinyl folder. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
