Description

1983 Reggie Lewis High School Championship Ring. With fellow future NBA stars Muggsy Bogues, David Wingate and Reggie Williams on the team, it's little wonder that Lewis' 1982-83 Dunbar High School Poets cruised through an undefeated thirty-one game senior season to the Championship, and a number one ranking by USA Today. Though he's remembered best today for his seven seasons with the Boston Celtics, who retired his number "35" after his sudden, tragic death from cardiac arrest at age twenty-seven, this ring represents the last Championship of his brilliant and sadly abridged basketball career. "Dunbar National Championship" encircles a red stone with the letter "D" on the face. Left shank reads "R. Lewis, Poets 31-0," while right announces "Dunbar 1983 MSA." Inside the size 10.5 band is engraved "R. Lewis." Fourteen karat gold plate base metal construction.
