1982-83 Dave Cowens Game Worn, Signed Milwaukee Bucks Shoes. After calling it quits in 1980, Dave Cowens was coaxed out of retirement in 1982 by the Milwaukee Bucks, who were then coached by his former Celtics teammate Don Nelson. A member of the coveted NBA 50 Greatest Player fraternity, and league MVP in 1973, Cowens wore this pair of Converse sneakers during his only season with the Bucks. Exhibiting heavy wear throughout, they are each signed by the Hall of Famer, while the right shoe is tagged "[size] 14.5" and the left is a "[size] 15.5". Auction LOA from MEARS.
