1980's Isiah Thomas Game Worn Shoes - From Family of Sandy Grossman. Basketball is a game reserved for big men. One man who entered the land of the giants and lived to tell about it was Isiah Thomas. Widely considered one of the finest guards in NBA history, Zeke was the central figure around the Bad Boys domination of the late '80's. The guard wore these "Converse [size] 11.5" shoes when he was at the height of his powers. Both shoes show appropriate wear and are signed in fading black ink. "Pistons" is screened on the reverse. These were gifted by Thomas to sports TV director Sandy Grossman's son and are personalized. Letter of provenance from the son of television director Sandy Grossman. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (for both shoes). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
